Until an emergency occurs, we rarely think about our current safety systems. It’s a false hope. Medical emergencies happen quickly, people feel vulnerable to violence, and responders often state, “we can’t do it alone”.
When creating RescueGIS, we listened carefully to many world leading experts and leveraged the most advanced technologies to design our systems. Our partners such as AWS enabling generative AI and global scale, Esri with indoor and outdoor maps, and others are instrumental in our ultimate delivery of the advanced safety capabilities to customers. Ease of enrollment, system use, and support are hallmarks of our values stemming from the high bar of our founders’ corporate aviation high-tech and community policing backgrounds.
Our History: Emergency conditions and violence are common and like many others, I have been personally affected. The tipping point was the Parkland Florida incident, when my daughter as a junior in High School came home and asked, “What do I do if something like this happens in my school.” I was shocked, knowing there is little on campus that can help, and in 2018 we chose to act.
Our focus ever since has been on very early rescues, simplistic use, privacy, mobility, and non-intrusive solutions. The first sales of our patented Smart Shield occurred late in 2019 covering the entry areas and protecting 13 schools. In February 2020 every school and business campus closed for Covid 19.
We then shifted full time to develop RescueGIS. As our company and system capabilities grew, we realized the enormous needs for immediate rescues and live on-scene responder intelligence worldwide. This led us to build for scale.
Today, technologies of RescueGIS with 38 patented claims makes innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI) and geographical information system (GIS) technologies. Together with our industry partners we apply our capabilities to safety and security, delivering powerful new features for individuals, sites, and communities.
More broadly, our private cloud-based systems are positioned between; the rapidly advancing IoT device variations and mobile internet connectivity everywhere. This makes our technologies applicable to a very wide market, delivering valuable capabilities to wearables devices, cameras, and drones, as well as satellite to devices, and indoor positioning solutions.
Presently we are a team of 34 of entrepreneurs and professionals with vast technology, security, and community policing experience. We care greatly about the well-being of people, and particularly for children. Will you join us?
